About me/ι—œζ–Όζˆ‘ πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»

Hi there! I’m a Malaysian Chinese dude living in a little town near Kuala Lumpur. Currently, I work as a copywriter in a marketing agency .

Rakyat biasa is not my real name, it simply means β€œregular citizen” in Malay.

In a previous lifetime, I wrote opinion articles for a local Chinese-language newspaper. You’ll find most of my Chinese-language articles on this blog.

Right now, I’ve no idea what this blog is for. Maybe it’ll evolve into something interesting, maybe not.

You can find me on Mastodon and Threads, where I actively post about Malaysian food, houseplants, and the occasional Malaysian politics.

I lean liberal politically and as an atheist living in a religious nation, strongly support secularism and freedom of belief.

I occasionally draw and aim to use my own drawings as illustrations on this blog as much as possible.

I also write in Chinese.
